Our farmer, John Krueger at Circle Brook Farm, grows vegetables for our members who have purchased “shares” in the harvest. Members pay at the beginning of the season, when he most needs the money. Starting in June, he delivers a weekly assortment of vegetables, herbs and some fruit. This is not a co-op, there are no wholesalers or distributors. You support sustainable local agriculture directly and get freshly picked organic produce at a great price!
Members pick up their share at our distribution site in Morristown. The site is like a little farmstand with vegetables in crates and in coolers. Kids can help or play while you chat and swap recipes. Our farmer has a BS in Environmental Science from Cook College and is dedicated to organic and sustainable farming. Members are even invited to visit the farm!
The season is 24 weeks long.
Pick-up is in Morristown from 4 to 6pm on Wednesdays, but you can usually pick up later or earlier.
